Welcome to the website of the FAIRFUELS project!

FAIRFUELS is looking to develop, fabricate and test innovative nuclear fuels containing Minor Actinides. This project may achieve a significant step towards recycling and valorising high level long-lived radioactive elements from today’s nuclear waste.

By closing the nuclear fuel cycle, FAIRFUELS contributes to the sustainability of nuclear energy as a low-carbon energy source.
